First-hand admissions committee experience
All of our consultants have served on admissions committees at the most selective colleges and universities in the United States. They have made accept, reject, and waitlist decisions on the basis of applicant interviews, essays and personal statements, letters of reference, SAT and ACT scores, and other application materials. They know from personal experience what differentiates a 'median' (50th percentile) applicant from an outstanding (10th to 20th percentile) applicant. We know exactly what admissions committees are looking for in applicants, and how you can best present your own unique story to them.
We know that your admissions consultant will play an important role in determining your admissions chances and helping you chart your future career goals. That’s why we hire only the most qualified consultants to work for our firm. We review about 100 resumes for a single interview. Of those, we hire only one of the five applicants we’ve interviewed. The only consultants we hire are those who demonstrate the proper knowledge of the admissions process, excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and a true sense of concern for their clients' welfare.
We build relationships. Don't be surprised when your consultant is as excited as you are when you land a spot at a top college. We’ll spend much time and energy helping you to reach your goal, and like any good mentor, the satisfaction of seeing you reach the finish line is a big part of why we do what we do.

The difference between working with AdmissionsConsultants – versus going it alone, working with a test-prep company, or hiring an essay editor or recent alumnus – is our service and inside knowledge of the admissions process. Your future is too important to be entrusted to just anyone. We have the experience and credentials to zero in how best to maximize your strengths, and present them to admissions committees.
