WBP Academic Specialist and Baseball Coach

David Wick began coaching high school baseball in 1982 at Lake Forest Academy, an independent boarding school near Chicago.  In twenty-four seasons as head coach, his teams have garnered seven conference championships.

As a player, Wick pitched semi-pro and Division III college ball and earned all-conference honors in high school.
When not on the field, Wick chairs the department of classical and modern languages at Lake Forest Academy.  He teaches Latin and English.  In his spare time, he coaches his sons’ youth travel teams.
