12U Wood Bat Baseball League presented by Under Armour - July 15th-August 11th, 2012
IMG Baseball Academy hosts a Summer Youth Baseball League for 2012. The12U Wood Bat Baseball Summer League presented by Under Armour is scheduled for July 15th-August 11th, 2012. Dedicated youth players will converge from across the nation and different countries to play baseball in a summer developmental wood bat baseball league in Florida, designed to suit the 12U youth player while simultaneously developing their personal character and life skills.
The 12U Wood Bat Baseball Summer League is a 4-week program that mirrors the successful high school IMG Wood Bat Summer League with a combination of individual training, competition and a reputation for developing youth baseball talent. The training regimen and games are almost identical - including the use wood bats or wood composite bats, however this summer's youth baseball league is customized to better suit a developing youth baseball player. This summer, The 2012 IMG Baseball Academy Summer 12U Wood Bat League provides an experience that is unmatched for the combination of competition, baseball training, and overall development. Extensive workouts enable every youth player the best opportunity to develop their fundamental skills and full potential as people and baseball players.

Over the past 3 summers, almost 400 high school and middle school baseball players from 40 states and 16 countries have converged on the 500 acre IMG Baseball Academy campus in Bradenton, Florida to participate in the IMG Wood Bat Leagues.
Highlights for the youth summer 2012 IMG 12U Wood Bat League
 For ages 10-12
Team coaches will be both College Coaches and IMG Baseball Academy Staff. All Coaches will have Professional and/or Collegiate Experience
Competition and Training – Six days a week
College Recruiting Seminar
Training at the IMG Academies 500 acre campus – the Largest Multi-Sport Training Facility in the World
Speed, Strength, and Agility Training at the IMG Performance Institute (IPI)
6,000 square foot state-of-the-art covered hitting complex with 4 tunnels.
The lighting and equipment is to MLB specifications, with a ProBatter Professional PX2 Video Pitching Machine
2 Youth Baseball fields – 70’ Bases, 225’ outfield fences, plus batting cages and bullpens
Play with and against some of the nation’s most dedicated 12U youth baseball players
Develop fundmentals and positive on and off field habits that will establish a base foundation for future development in baseball and life.
Players will board on the Highly Secure and Supervised Main Campus with assigned Mentors
Opportunity to develop lasting friendship with players from across the country and abroad

The IMG Wood Bat Leagues SOLD OUT in 2011 and space will go FAST for the 2012 Leagues so if you are the slightest bit interested make your inquiry now!
Registrations are tracked in all three summer leagues - The High School Wood Bat League, The 14U Wood Bat League and the 12U Wood Bat League by primary position so that teams do not end up with too many 1st basemen, for example. Even though there may be openings left, your son's primary position may fill earlier so do not delay in signing on! THIS LEAGUE WILL SELL OUT IN 2012!
