In 2007 Kash was the Vice President of the South Coast Professional Baseball League. Currently, as of Nov '07 he heads the newly formed Wichita Wingnuts (AA) of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.

In 2005, Beauchamp took on the task of being the player procurement director of the Independent Golden Baseball league where he was responsible for signing 70 players. In 2006 Kash finished his tenure as the manager in the American Association Independent league for the Pensacola Pelicans.
Kash was the first overall pick of the 1982 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. The outfielder played 12 seasons with various organizations, achieving the AAA level in six of those seasons and has accumulated over 1,000 career hits. Beauchamp coached in the Montreal Expos organization during the 1995-1997 seasons before beginning his managerial career with the New Jersey Jackals in 1998, where he managed through the 2000 season.

Kash was brought up in baseball. His father Jim, played 10 seasons in the Major Leagues and was the bench coach for the Atlanta Braves for 9 seasons including the '95 World Championship team.
