2002 / 2003 - Coached with the South Florida Bombers, 2002 AABC/Mickey Mantle 16U Florida State Co-Champions.

2000 / 2002 - Coached in both 14U and 16U travel divisions. Additionally he was a member of the Board of Directors, Director of Player Development, and supervised the upper divisions of Southwest County Little League (now West Boca Youth Baseball).

1991 - Carlson began coaching his son in Little League in Southern California.
